> • LODGE MEETING. From Onr Own Correspondent. Tho fortnightly meeting of L|dga M.U.1.0.0.F. Rangiwahia was held in the Rangiwahia Hail on Wednesday last, Bro. F. Prujoan presiding over a fair attendance. An enjoyable supper was provided by the social committee. '• /> 5 Football. ■ ' Rangiwahia juniors journeyed to Kimbolton to play for the shield, the Resulting gameproving very interest- : ■<%, and. evenly contested. Rangiwahia Ii ; Browning scoring tries. O. Truman converted and kicked a penalty.^ Seven of tho Eangiwahia juniors have been picked to play a possiolo and probable match at Kimboltonfon Saturday next. These are:—B. Say well, K. Carey. G. Knight, S. Meads, p. Martin, E. Clifton and A. Pncc, ■' Football and Hockey. j. A very, gay and animated scene was ] presented at the Eangiwahia Hall on y* Friday evening, when the Football and I Hockey Clubs hoM their annual balL Festoons of coloured streamers and irails of greenery wore suspended across the ball-room, and the walls
were gaily docked with clusters of greenery. Pretty shades of- crepe, paper gave charming lighting effects, while ia tho supper room, where a delicate guppor was served, an effective scheme of decoration was carried out with ferns and greenery. The tables were artistically arranged with holly. Excellent music was contributed by Lar-, kin’s Orchestra, and' extras were played by Miss C. Martin, Miss M. Cummcrflcld, Miss K. Parker, and Mr. C.
