From Our Own Correspondent. Tho Eaumai Rifle Club held a mooting on Saturday, a large number of members being present to compete for Mr. A. W. Trass trophy. Some good shooting ensued. The competition was won by Itfleman, D. Balmer, who won on n count back from Rifleman W. Balmer. Following are tho details of the best scores.

Three' other competitions have been hold by- the club, this ,season, 'the patron’s (Mr. E. Aker’s) trophy being won by Eifleman J. Leary,, scores being:- : , J. Leary 30, 29, 5, 64; C. Spelman 31, 29, .4, 64; W. Balmer 30, 28, 3, 61. The president’s (Mr. J. D. Balmer’s) trophy Was , secured by > Eifleman L. Hunt, scorijs being:— L. Hunt 27, 27. 12, 66: D. Watson 34, 25, 7, 66; C. Spelman 27, 33, 4, 64. The .competition for Mr. J. Spelman's trophy resulted as follows: — (300yds. and 500yds.):— D. Spelman 29, 31, 6, 66; D. Balmer 33, 30, 3,. 66; J. Eoborts 27, 30, 7, 64.
