Colyton
The usual fortnightly euchre party ariji dance held under , the auspices of the Colyton Football Club took place in the Colyton Hall on Wednesday evening, there being a fair attendance. The winners of the euchre tournament were: ladies’. Miss M. Northoote; men’s, Mr W. Bussell; consolation awards, ladies’, Mrs. Walker; men’s Mr L. Hansen. After a dainty supper, provided by the ladies, dancing was indulged in. ; A Monte Ca-rlo waltz competition was won by Mr L. Hansen and Miss K. Lockyer. , The music was supplied by Mr J. Dawson, and extras were played by Mr T. Wilson, while Mr M. Lockyer acted as EC.. Only one more of those popular gatherings is to be held this season, when trophies for the season’s aggregate. will bo presented. Arrangements are well in hand for the popular annual Football and Cricket Clubs' ball, and the committee intends Sparing no efforts to make it a spoclal,success. There is every likelihood of a new piano being purchased by the hall committee, and it is expected to have the new instrument in action at the hall.
