EUGBY. From Oar Own Correspondent. Tie local tiirds played Hunterville thirds on Saturday afternoon at the Eecroation Grounds. . The game ended in a draw. Ladies’ Hockey. Owing to tie “draw” between tie Hinomoa and Tokorangi teams, a play off match to decided the winner of the cup was arranged for Saturday afternoon last at Stan way. The Hinempas took the field, but their Opponents failed to put in an appearance. One of the attractions for. this week will be the Euchre and Dance at the school room to-night. A piano has been kindly lent for the occasion, and tne committee are getting the floor in good order. Another large room Wiu bo' available for -euchre players, and good prizes are forthcoming- The proceeds are to be utilised for the- purchase of various items in connection with tlio school bazaar which will D 6 held in September, and it is hoped a 'urge crowd will reward the lacucs ef'orts in this direction.
