If a supply, of the following cleaner for linoleum is made and kept well corked it will last through the winter. Shred i pound. of soap, and boil- it slowly in one quart of water. Melt J pound of glue. This may be done by putting tho glue into a jar and standing this in a saucepan' of boiling water until dissolved. ' Glue should never be. melted or boiled directly in water. Add the melted glue to the soapsuds and then add 3-pint of paraffin. Mix all tho ingredients together and leave the mixture until cold, when it may be applied to the linoleum by means of a flannel dipped in warm water... Once a fortnight is quite often enough to use it, and it will clean, polish and preserve the linoleum.- ■ ; - -
