FOOTBALL. Waituna West juniors journeyed to Colyton on : Saturday, defeating that team by 14 to nil. A slight altercation caused by one of the Waituna'men be, i.ng ordered off the field for striking a Colyton player, who, he alleges, struck him first, was afterwards settled satisfactorily. On Friday evening the hockey giris and some of their friends- and supporters held a meeting in the hall. It was decided to hold a concert and dance, the date to bo fixed later, proceeds to be, in aid of the Hookey Club. Arrangements are well in hand' for the grand ball to be held in the hall next Thursday evening. Ah orchestra has been engaged and patrons arc assured of a most enjoyable, time.
