MEETING OP COMMITTEE. Mr. 8. AY. Oliver presided over the meeting of the College Street school committee last evening, other committe ■••• n present being Mes-rs F. Tucker P. W. Barnard, H. A. Hamilton, W. E. Taylor, L. M. Armstrong, J. P. Stubbs aud C. S. Boos (secretary). ! The headmaster (Mr. AY. A. SwinI bourn) reported a roll of 570 with an ' average attendance last week of 54-1. Dr. Gunn, medical officer, had examined practically every child at the school. The stormwater drains had been laid .and the whole work nearly completed. I It was decided to close the school on the AVodnesday and Friday afternoons for the winter show.
