INFANT SCHOOL AT COLLEGE STREET

EDUCATION BOARD TO APPLY POE GRANT. The ' Wanganui Education Board secretary notified the College Street School committee last evening that, on tho recommendation of its senior inspector, it had been decided to make application to tho Department for a grant for tho erection of four class rooms on tho new site for the purpose of accommodating tho primer class. In tho event of a grant being made, the intention of the Board was to do away with the building known as the ‘shack” and also the corrugated iron building. The committee decided to thank the. Board for its decision and sympathy shown towards the need of the school.
