MOTHER AND DAUGHTER BANQUET

A thoroughly enjoyable and successful Mother and Daughter banquet was hold in the Methodist School Room Broadway, on Wednesday evening, by the Young Women’s Bible Classes, ol the Methodist Church. The school room and tables were decorated with lovely

yellow chrysanthemums and greenery, and the Bible Class colours. There were about 100 present. Sister May Ralph was toast mistress. Miss. Phyllis Hastings proposed the toast to "Our Mothers,” Mrs H. E. Paccy replying. Musical items were given by Miss Jean Paccy (songs), Miss Maisie Bennett (songs), Miss Peggy McConnor, Miss Kathleen Harris and Miss Florence Cox (recitations.)
