SOCIETY WEDDING AT BROMPTON ORATORY

Evan' Morgan, only son of Viscount and Vis-' countess Tredegar, which took place at the Brompton Oratory, the bride being received into the -Roman Catholic Church on the previous day. -' Miss. Sturt's dress had-a mediaeval long full shirt, and long tight sleeves. ’ The corsage was a mass of gold sequins, crystals and pearls. She wore a gold net veil over 1t head-dress-of gold, and her shoes and stockings repeated the same rich materials. Except for the red, velvety roses carried by the girls, the eight bridesmaids and pages-were also dressed in gold tissue., In this 1 pageant were the Countess of Wilton’s daughter , Lady Alexandra Egertpn, and her cousins, Miss Diana and Miss Georgina Suited. Michael Stanley walked with Simon Warrendcr. Sir .Victor. Warronder's other son, John, was also a page, and Miss Jill Pollock a bridesmaid. Four huge vases of gold were tilled with gold, blue and white flowers, and during the marriage ceremony the Archbishop of Oar-

The Hon. Evan Morgan’s present to his bride was a diamond and sapphire pendant on a long diamond chain, and from her mother, Lady Alington, she received a diamond brooch and a gold and tortoiseshell fitted dressing case. Lord Tredegar, the bridegroom’s father gave her a diamond bracelet with an edging of small shapphires. Lady Tredegar sent a magnificent black opal . necklace, and a diamond bracelet.
