Palmerston North .as a place in which retired tradesmen and farmers may spend their lives pleasantly and profitably is increasingly popular. Mr. •John Glover, who has spent a halfeentury in Kongotea, during which he has been regarded as its civic father, favours Palmerston North as a future home, and hopes shortly to take up his residence here. Certain social institutions which give opportunities for fellowship have contributed to this decision. Mr. and Mrs. Glover will bo welcomed in Palmerston’ North and missed at Eongotca as useful citizens.
