GALLICHAN PLAYING AT HAMILTON TO-DAY

(Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, Mar. 6. The prospects do not look good for the match between the Australian cricketers and the North Island eleven, which is to commence to-morrow. The wicket, which was originally intended to be used has been so affected by the rain that another has been prepared. Langridgc, of Auckland, and Hockin, of the Waikato, arc not available for the home team, which now will bo made up of: M'Girr, Badcock, Lambert, Wellington; Galliehan, of the Manawatu; Garrard, of Rotorua, and Kavanagh, Everest, Hawke, Gandell, Lenichan and Badclly of the Waikato. Later. Owing to the continuance of heavy rain there seems little prospect of the match between the Australians and the North Island cloven being started in the morning as the wicket and outfield are well saturated.
