CENTRAL SCHOOL

MEETING- OF COMMITTEE Rev. H. T. Peat presided over Ilia meeting of the Central School Committee last evening when there were also present Messrs. A. H. Mills, \V. B. Mayes, W. H. Cameron, H. J. Canton, F. Pycroft, A. Clark (secretary), and the headmaster, Mr. E. Bary. The headmaster reported that during the past three weeks the highest attendances per week had been 785, 760, and 756; the lowest 758, 694, and 070; the average 769, 740, and 729; while the roll for each of the three weeks had been 836, 827, and 829. He was very pleased with the conditions that he found existing at the school. It was decided to procure a first aid 1 outfit for the school . It was decided to send the College street School a letter congratulating them on winning the swimming cup ' and shield. I
