The report for Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd., for tlx week ended sth November is as follows:—Waipu No. 3 Well: Depth 2505 feet In grey shale; 8 in. diam., casing to 2485 feet. Gisborne No. 1 Well: Depth 1300 feet in alternating sandstone and sandy shale: 10 inch diam., casing to 1270 feet. The shares of this company have taken a sharp rise during the week, soiling at from 9s to 12s, easing to 11s.
