WYANDOTTE CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING. Mr J. R. Cunninghamc, Palmerston North, presided over a small attendance of the members of the New Zealand (N. 1.) Wyandotte Club, the occasion being their annual meeting, held at the Showgrounds yesterday. The chairman, in presenting the annual report stated that the Club had not been very active during the year. The secretary, (Mr C. Robert) who had been taken ill, resigned his position, and consequently the affairs of the Club had not been carried on to the same degree of efficiency as they would have been had it not been for Mr Robert’s resignation. The report stated, inter-alia. that ttus alasscs at the last show in regard to the Wyandottes had been of a very high order. The membership remained about the same as lest year, and the president again urged upon members the necessity of incrasing the membership, which was most essential to the carrying out of the objects of the Club. Election of Officers. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr J. R. Cunninghame; Vice-presidents: Messrs T. B. Holdaway, (Hukanul) and J. Stewart (Wanganui); Secretary and Treasurer, M r W. Inkpen (Palmerston North); Councilman: The secretary aftd president, with power to add. Auditor: Mr W. T. Penny. The,meeting closed with votes of thanks to. the Secretary (Mr. W. Inkpen) and the A. and P. Association, for the use of their committee room.
