OROUA ELECTORATE

MINISTERIAL VISITS. The Hon. R. A. Wright, Minister of Education, is to visit Feliding at the end of the present month to personally investigate certain educational questions requiring attention. Some time in May the Prime Minister and the Minister of Public Works will visit the Oroua Electorate and will take part in the ceremony of the opening of the new concrete bridge at Waituna. The structure is now open for traffic but the settlers of the district consider the completion of the work as a matter requiring Ministerial approbation. The new bridge certainly marks an important step in the progress of the district and also of the country’s appreciation of the heed for good highways.
