WOODVILLE

WOMEN’S INSTITUTE The members of the local Women’s Institute had a very successful social afternoon on Saturday.- The weather proved excellent and a large gathering assembled at the Foresters Hall for the occasion. During the afternoon musical items, songs and recitations were given by local talent. The following persons entertained the gathering, Miss A. Kirkpatrick, recitation,. Pianoforte solo by Mr. R. Eades, Miss B. Bailey, song. Miss Me Gregor and Isobel Graham, duet, Mrs. H. McNeil, whistling solo, Miss Scott, song. All the items were well received and each had to respond to an encore, Mr. Eades having to.! respond twice. The produce stall proved very successful.
