LADY PLUNKET

AMATEUR EXHIBITION DANCER. Lady Blanket, the young wife of Lord Blanket, and a great friend of .thb Duke and Duchess of York, is a first-rate amateur exhibition dancer, (writes a Sydney correspondent). - At' the amateur cabaret in add of a charity, which Captain Buckmaster (erstwhile ' husband of Gladys Cooper and now married to Nellie Taylor) organised at the Hotel Metropole, she did a pas de deux with young Fiankic Heverson, and not only looked bewitchingly lovely, but showed herself quite up to professional form. She must have inherited some talent from her mother, Fannie Ward, though Fannie, who looks as marvellously young as ever, never showed any particular talent as a dancer.
