■ln a survey of philately in 1926, when 1200 new varieties of postage stamps appeared in all parts of the world, the "Times” makes the following comment on the July issue in New Zealand: VA flagrant caricature of thc.lCipg in admiral’s uniform, disfiguring some of the new 2/- and 3/stamps of New Zealand, issued on July 12, was the subject of universal comment, and it is understood that fresh plates have been prepared in London and dispatched to the Dominion in consequence.
