SALVATION ARMY CONCERT

Last evening in the Citadel, the annual concert of the Junior Sunday School division of the Salvation Army was held, when there was a very large and appreciative audienc. The greater part of a lengthy programme was contributed by the children in organised groups. The excellence of their performances was a credit to the tutor, and the audience was not behindhand in recognising the excellence of the work done.

Musical items were rendered by the following;—Vocal solo, Rita Cotter: pianoforte duet, the Masters Read: vocal duet, E. Monck and D. Gosper; pianoforte duet, Mary and George Scott.

Brigadier Bladin presided and made suitable references to the children’s performances and the keen interest displayed by the teachers in the production.
