Cook, secretary of the British Miners’ Federation, described as “our dear guest and the most interesting and brilliant figure among British Labour leaders,” received a Koyal Salute from the Army and Young Ptonercs, which comprise the Soviet Boy Scouts. Guarded by special detectives and accompanied by corps of reporters, he has been plentifully . banqueted. He said recently: ‘‘ln return for Kussian help we will prevent the Baldwin Government from interfering in Russian affairs.”
