Sir Oliver Lodge, H. G. Wells, St. Loo Strachy, and other prominent men are promoting a petition to tha House of Commons, urging inquiry into the financial principals and policy of the Country, in view of the fear of industrial upheaval on a National scale, and the alleged fact that tile financial and banking organizations are failing to promote the interests of the community.
