Sir Oliver Lodge, H. G. Wells, St. Loo Strachy, and other prominent men are promoting a petition to tha House of Commons, urging inquiry into the financial principals and policy of the Country, in view of the fear of industrial upheaval on a National scale, and the alleged fact that tile financial and banking organizations are failing to promote the interests of the community. They point out that the fundamental lack of harmony between the Country’s needs and financial policy may be the cause of the existing Industrial conflict.
