LUCKY SPORTSMEN DECIDED BY BALLOT. [By Electric Cable —Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] INVERCARGILL, Last Night. ...Applications lor the Wapiti blocks in Fiordland during the forthcoming hunting season, have been received by the Southland Acclimitisation Society from eight parties, consisting of sixteen sportsmen. At a ballot held to-day in tho Society's office, the following sportsmen wore allocated blocks; Block 1: A. and K. Sutherland, Hcnakura, Wairarapa. Block 2: J. L. and P. W. McCaw, Hakataramca.
Block 8: E. W. and W. Herrick, Hastings.
