S.M., with failing to stop before driving over the railway line at lho Kunbolton road crossing on Oetober i). The result was a. serious aocident in which defendant’s car was badly smashed. Defendant, who was looking out for a train from the opposite direction, notified that he ac-cepted-the responsibility for the accident, but mentioned that he had had to pay £SO to have his car repaired. Maitland was ordered to pay £2, with 7s costs and £1 Is solicitor's tec.
