RANGIWAHIA

OPENING OF TENNIS CLUBS. [From Our Own Correspondent.] The Rangiwahia tennis courts were officially opened last Saturday. Beautiful weather brought large numbers of visitors from Apiti, Mangaweka and surrounding districts. Some good games resulted, the play being of a very high standard. Mr. Watt, the Club’s new president, in a brief speech, declared the courts opened, and Mrs. Morgan, senr., the Club’s oldest member, served the first ball. Luncheon and afternoon tea were provided by the lady members. A most successful season is anticipated, fifteen new members having joined.
