The “Dtuly Telegraph’s” Home correpondent reports that Dumini, the avowed leader in the Matteotti crime, was sentenced to fourteen months' imprisonment, with twenty days solitary confinement, on a charge of defaming Mussolini. The defence was that Dumini -was exasperated because he was abandoned by his old friends, reduced to poverty, and had to pawn his family jewels. He claimed that he was still an ardent Fascist and (admirer of Mussolini.
