Arno Borg swam five hundred yards in smin SSJsecs, and three hundred yards in 3min 15 7-10 sees, world’s records. He also swam three hundred metres in 3min 33 1 secs. [The record for the 500yds, put up by Weismuller (U.S.A.) in 1923, was smin 47 3-ssecs, the 300yds record, made by the same swimmer, being 3 min 10 3-ssecs. Weismuller's record for the 300 metres, was 3min 35 1-5 secs.]
