Mr. H. A. Douglas, manager at Hawcra for the Bank of New South Wales, has received notice of his promotion to the Palmerston North branch.
Mr. A. S. Wajisbrough. designing engineer, and Mr. H. W. Beasley, district engineer, woro in Palmerston North yesterday on departmental business.
Visitors at the Luncheon Club yesterday included Mr ,T. Mason, M.P., of Napier, Rev. R. B. Gosnell (Waitara), Messrs P. Brown (Pukckoho), G. Wells (Auckland) F. H. Woodward (Wellington) and Rev. J. J. Franlyn (Western Australia).
