GOOD FRIDAY IN THE CHURCHES

Good Friday Services will be held in the two Methodist Churches of Palmerston North as follows: Cuba street, 8 a.m. (H.C.); Broad street 11 a.m. (H.C.); Cuba street 7.30 p.m.

All Saints Parish will celebrate Good Friday in a series of services, commencing at 8 a.m., and continuing at intervals through the day till 7.30; when Dr. Wood’s “Passion of our Lord’’ will be rendered by the choir. Ven Archdeacon Creed Meredith, vicar of Wanganui, will assist at the services.
