Mr. J. Hodgens has been confined to his bed for the past few days, but his many friends will learn with pleasure that his condition is not serious. He expects to be about again very shortly. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Waters returned to Palmerston North yesterday from a tour of America. Mr. Waters has completely recovered his health and is looking and feeling particularly well . Mr J. F. Montague and Mr Cyril Towsey, of Auckland, will be in Palmerston North on Thursday morning for a few hours, on their way to Napier competitions, where they will act as judges of elocution and music respectively.
