According to a Delhi report, certain followers of the Aga Khan, one of the most romantic figures of th e English Turf, as well as the greatest religious and political forc c east of Suez, have proclaimed him the Now Messiah. The newspapers point out the enormous spiritual power of this great Moslem, who is a direct descendant of Mohammed and th e acknowledged leader of seventy million Mohammedans. It would have an Incalculable effect on India if the vast millions of low-caste Hindus could ba induced to accept him as the incarnation of Vishnu, one of the supreme Oriental deities .
It was recently announced that a young Indian, Mr. J. Kreshnamurti, had been, proclaimed by Mrs. Aunia Besant, president of the Tlieosopmoal Society, to be tlie "chosen vehicle” through which a new "world teacner" would speak. The Aga Khan, who if in his 47th year, is best known as th« owner of very successful horses on the English Turf.
