HOROWHENUA INTER-CLUB MATCHES. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Foxton Croquet Club played Otaki on Tuesday at Levin in the third round of the Horowhemia inter-club matches. Otaki scored 85 points and Foxton 98. Following are the scores, Otaki players being mentioned first: Singles.—Mrs. Noble (8) defeated Mrs. Woods (51) 26—25; Mrs. Evans (9) lost to Mrs. Moore (7) 19—26. Doubles. —Mesdamcs Smith (11) and Wyatt (11) defeated Mrs. Parkes (7) and Miss Wanklyn (9) 26—21; Mesdames Oliver (9) and Gillespie (12) lost to Mesdames Owen (6) and Bryant (81) 14—2 6. Thirty-Minute Tumament. Scores of the Foxton Club, played yesterday, resulted;—Mesdames Owen Huntley, Barr, Balt, McMurray, and Miss Wanklyn (21), Mrs. Moore (4J).
