Entries a-e coming in freely, and a good day 3 sport should eventuate. Plunket Society. The committees are working very Strenuously for the respective baby candidates. A concert and dance was held du'-ing the week, the proceeds ot , which were to be divided between the three candidates to give them a start. A large parly from. Alangahao was in attendance, and % jolly evening was enjoyed by all. There are to be numerous entertainments —garden parties. dances, social evenings, street stalls, and any tiling that will bring in a few shillings for the candidates.
