ACCIDENT AT APITI

Whilst chopping wood at Apiti on Friday. Mr. N. Gould, a well-known resident of the district had the misfortune to meet with an accident, which resulted in losing one of his eyes. It appears that a piece of wood lodged in the eye and Mr. Gould proceeded to Feilding to receive medical attention and it.was found necessary to remove the eye. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends is extended to Mr. Gould in his misfortune.
