BERLIN, February 6.

Bavaria does not intend to allow “indecent ultra-modern fashions worn by foreign female visitors, ’’ An organisation known as the Bavarian National Costume Preservation Society threatened the Government that if it did not immediately legislate against the indecent dress of foreign visitors it would take its own action. As a result the Government proposes to hold up any female tourist attired in sleeveless, low-cut blouses and short skirts which “may pass in London or Paris but will not be permitted in Bavaria.”
