A MURDERER’S CONFESSION. NEW YORK, January 26. Under the third degree, Ambrose Ross, who had been«onvlcted of murder, made a confession on the eve of his execution, which was, therefore postponed again. This is the third time it has been deferred, and Ross Is overjoyed at having gained another three weeks of life. The confession, which has now to be investigated. Implicates all the members of a gang to which Ross belonged.
