Sir James Allen, on being Interviewed by the “Dally Mail,” said; “Although Now Zealand needs settlers the great part of the money available for overseas settlement should be devoted to ensuring a White Australia and peopling the wide, unoccupied areas, because any incursion into Australia would certainly aifect New Zealand.”
