LONDON, February 3,

Colonel Willey, in addressing the Federation of British Industries, regretted that the Government's support of the "buy British goods” campaign was limited to a single grant of £25,000 to advertise the British industries fair. Britain had hitherto concentrated her energies on production. It was, now essential courageously to develop her selling capacity, wherein newspapers and advertising agents mu?t take a great share. They could learn much from American methods, lie suggested a national conference of advertisers and manufacturers.
