Prices For ail Ciasses Easier HEAVY YARDING, BUT POOR DEMAND [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH. Last Night. The resumption of •go-slow” tactics at two of the principal freezing works on Tuesday had a disturbing effect on to-day's Addington sale and values were easier all round. Store Sheep.—A heavy yarding, including the first consignment of Gisborne sheep. All classes were easier, notably lambs, which wer e down by 2/- to 2/6 a head. Forward lambs made 22/- to 23/6; medium lambs, 11/- to 15/9; fairly good four and six-toothed wethers, 23/- to 25/6; twotoothed half-bred wethers,. 22/- to 24/3; ordinary two-toothed half-bred wethers, 19/6 to 21/9; inferior and lata shorn two-toothed half-bred wethers, 16/6 to 18/9; sound-mouthed half-bred owes. 25/9 to 28/6; North Island two-toothed Romney cross ewes, 25/- to 30/9; sound-mouthed North Island Romney cross ewes, 24/to 26/1. Fat lambs. —4200 wore penned, and met with a drop In prices of up to 2/6 over the first half of the sale, but a recovery of 1/6 was experienced In the final stages. Exporters bought moderately over the final part of the sale. Extra prime lambs sold at 31/to 36/-; prime, 28/- to 80/6; medium. 25/9 to 27/9; light, 23/9 to 25/6; stores, 21/10 to 23/6. Fat sheep.—A heavy entry and values were lower by 1/- a head. Extra prime wethers fetched up to 35/10; prime, 30/- to 32/9: medium, 27/3 to 29/9; light, 24/- to 27/-; extra prime ewes, to 29/4; prime, 25/- to 27/6; medium, 21/9 to 24/6: light, 19/- to 21/-; old ewes, 15/10 to IS/-.
Fat Cattle.—46o were yarded, as against 575 last week. The sale was “sticky,” particularly for cows, which formed the bulk of the entry. Best beef mad:) from 36/- to 41/- and cow beef from 25/- to 32/6. Extra prime heavy-weight steers sold for £lB to £l9 2/6; prime heavy, £l6 to £l7 10/-; prime medium-weight, £lB 16/- to £l6 15/-; medium quality, ill 5/- to £l3 10/-; light. £9 5/- to £11; rough, £8 to £9; extra prime heifers, to £lB 17/6; prime, £9 to £11; ordinary, £8 10/- to £8 15/-; light. £3 17/6 to £6 5/-; extra prime cows, to £l2 2/6; prime, £8 to £lO B/-; medium, £5 10/- to £7 15/-; light, £3 15/- to £5.
Vealers. —A good sale, best runners realising up to £6 10/- and calves 30/to 55/-.
Store Cattle. —A nondescript entry. A line of 2-year steers made £7, Dairy cattle. —Prices were lower. Best springing heifers brought £l3 10/- to £l7 10/-; others, £6 to £10; best springing cows, £7 to £loj 10/-; others, £4 to £6 10/-, Pat Pigs.—A slightly better sale. Choppeis changed hdnds at 50/- to £5; baconers, f. 3 15/- to £5 18/- (average price per lb., 6id to 7Jd); porkers, 46/- to 65/- (average price per lb., 7Jd to Sid).
Store pigs.—A slack demand. Weaners sold tor 11/- to 23/-; slips, 25/to 18/-; small stores, 29/- to 83/-; medium. 35/- to 40/-.

Messrs. Abraham & Williams, Ltd., amf Wright, Stephenson and Co.. Ltd., report Johnsonville fat stock market yesterday:— A fairly good yarding of all classes of stock came forward.' The quality of both wethers and ewes Vfas only ordinary, but a pood lot of lambs were penned up. The cattle yarding throughout was good, weight and quality being well represented. A • fair number of vealars came forward, being mostly small sorts. We quote:—Wethers. 27/9, 28/- to S3/-: owes,, 20/9, 22/- to 23/3; lambs, 24/3, 27/3, 28/-, 28/3, 29/9, to 36/-; bullocks. £l3 2/6, £l3 5/-, £lB ID/-, £l3 12/6,: £l3 15/-; £l3 17/6 to £l4 10/-; vealers, 25/-, 30/-, 32/6, 86/-., 37/6, £2 2/-, £2 10/-, £2 17/-, £3 10/to £3 15/-. .
