MOTOR SPORTS
HANDICAPS DECLARED, The handicaps for the Manawatu Motor Club’s motor-cycle race meeting to bo bold at Ashhurst on Anniversary Day are announced. There is every prospect of exciting sport,, as large fields, including some of the ablest riders in th 0 Dominion, are expected. The prize- money is substantial. Tho big trace, th e president’s handicap, is worth £25 to the winner, with £lO for second, £5 for third and £1 for fourth prize. The first prize in several of tho other races is £lO.
