England is getting the tail end of the storm which has plunged most of Europe into the bitterest cold. Even Rome Is snow-covered and round tho Gulf of Lyons. The towns are flooded for the first time in history, while Perpignan is completely isolated. Six hundred fishing families on the Barcelona coast have been rendered homeless and huge waves are sweepover the tide-marks. Even in tfie Riveria the temperature is nine degrees below ae/o.
