GROWING WOOL
KIWITEA FARMER'S SUCCESS. Whilst no doubt the future of the woolynarket is exercising the minds o 1 our growers, it is pleasing to note that so far this year the product of the Feilding district has hel,d its own in competition with other producing cen tres. In the Wellington November sale the Romney clip from Mr J. Dillon Hocking, of Kiwitea, submitted fu the catalogue of the N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., topped 'the market for its class of Romney wool, and again in the December sale Mr Hocking received top price for the remainder of his clip. We understand that this Kiwitea grower has maintained this record for the past three seasons, so it speaks well for the grazing properties of the Feilding district. The next Wanganui wool sale is fixed for January 12th., and Wellington is to be held on 22nd. The first three series of the London sales have been arranged to commence on the following dates: January 19th., March 9th., and April 27th.
