SAMOAN STORM DAMAGE
63 HOUSES IX OXE VILLAGE.
Further - details of the storm in Samoa on New Tear’s Day have been received by the secretary of the General Post Office, Wellington. It Is reported that the wireless station Is intact, except for the aerial and counterpoise wires being brought down. No reports have been received yet from Savali. It is believed that considerable damage was done at Tutulla and the Manua group. In the latter place 63 Samoan houses were demolished in one village.
