CHINESE OPIUM-HOLDERS FINED. [Per Press Association.] NAPIER, Last Night. Ah Sue and Choy Jackson, two Chinese, pleaded guiliy in the Magistrate’s Court to being in possession of opium in a form suitable" for smoking. In the case of the latter, it was stated that ho apparently, not a smoker himself, was supplying his countrymen with the drug. Fines of £2O and £BO respectively, with costs, were inflicted.
