The engagement is announced of Ruby Marion, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Bell, of Levin to Herston Edward second son of Mr and Mrs C. Robinson, of Lady’s Mile Foxton. ODDFELLOWS’ DANCE. The Oddfellows’ weekly dance which was held on Monday evening was again well patronised. Notwithstanding the adverse weather conditions, several came quite a distance to enjoy themselves. These dances are becoming very popular with the public, and the committee hope by the end of the season to add a considerable amount to the Christmas tree fund.
