DAIRY CONTROL BOARD POLL.

PROBABLE RESULT OF VOTING. The preliminary count of the votes east in the postal ballot to fill vacancies on the New Zealand Dairy Export Control Board gives some indication of fhc probable result of the election, says the “Post.” It seems practically certain that Mr. William Bryant will be returned us the South Island representative, displacing the sitting member, Mr. ,T. R. Hamilton. The count of the North Island votes has not been completed. but it was reported yesterday that the Grounds-Motion ticket was leading by about seven hundred votes. Though heavier than at the last election, the polling in the South Island is disappointing, only about half the enfranchised producers exercising their Tight to vote.
