CRICKET ASSOCIATION.
WEEKLY MEETING. The weekly meeting of the Mafia r watu Cricket Association was held last evening, when Mr. F. J. Oakley occupied the chair. Other members pre sent were Messrs. W. Anderson, J. R Smith, R. B. Ross and G. K, Hollier (lion. sec.). . The Canterbury Cricket Associatior wrote asking for a list of all the club affiliated to it, also the names and ad dresses of the secretaries. —The secre tary was instructed to reply. The South Taranaki Associatio: wrote stating that owing to the inabil ity of several members to travel, i‘ would bo unable to send a reprosenta live team this season.
It was decided to write to the Wanganui Association, asking- for a representative match to bo played at Palmerston North, on March 13 and lilt was decided that the Old Boys’ Club be written to, asking it to withdraw its letter regarding the jienior team and why it decided to withdraw the- team. It was decided that the third round in the junior competition be commenced next Saturday and that the Y.M.C.A. third grade; 4toam play the team that has a .-bye in the junior grade competition. $ The senior.com-, petition will be concluded tiext Saturday.
