HEALING MISSION.
OPENS TO-MORROW. OVER 1000 PATIENTS. After concluding his mission of faith healing in Poverty Bay, Mr. J. M. Hickson arrived In Palmerston North on Saturday, and will to-mor-row commence his ministrations here, Local preparations for the reception of the visitors are very complete. Separate committees are controlling the various departments and Rev. H. G # Blackburne told a “ Times ” reporter on Saturday that perfect harmony existed and everything was running smoothly. Altogether there are well over 1000 patients for the Palmerston North mission. They come from different parts of the Manawatu, Taranaki. Wairarapa and Wanganui districts. From Palmerston North alone there are 200. while Wanganui is contributing 100. This evening, Mr. Hickson will address the workers and helpers in All Saints’ Hall and to-morrow morning at 10 o’clock will commence the actual ission, which will bo of three days’ duration.
