The arrest of the leaders of., the Sikh Shrines Reform Committee which was conducting a campaign in connection with the Nabha succession agitation, continues. The newly-elect-ed leaders declare their intention to carry out the policy of those arrested. Meetings of Sikh leagues have been prohibited and other steps are being taken to combat the spread of propaganda among th e Sikh, who, with the exception of a small, dissatisfied section, ar e quiet and little responsive to agitation.
