For the Caulfield races, the weather was tine, but dull. There was a satisfactory attendance, and the going was good. Kaiwarra, who was in third position early in the Nursery, led on entering the straight and Avon Avell. The time equals the race record. KaiAvarra cost the cx-Ncav Zealander, Mr Maurice McGrath, £4lO as a yearling, and is engaged in the Marlbyrnong Plate. George Harrison rode the winner, EasingAvold (Cairns) Avon the PoAver Stakes smartly from The Cypher, who Avas last for a mile, but finished Avell. David ran last. Easingwolci is trained by J. Holt.
